I have the proud privilege in presenting this Annual Report of our TASA- Trust in the Area of Social Activities, Arakkonam before your good self. First and foremost I exhibit an exhaustive survey of all our activities held during the period 01.04.2013- 31.03.2014 under report.
Under the guidelines and instruction of TamilNadu women Devolepment corporation vellore we have formed and trained women Self Help Groups . Approximately there are 2500 women Self Help Groups in Arakkonam,Nemili,Kaveripakkam, sholingur,walaja in vellore district.
We maintain the SHG in kadambathur,Thiruvalangadu,Tirtunai in Thiruvallur district.
After the formation of New Self Help Groups, EDP Skill Training, Special Skill Training Programmes were organized. For example Chamiki Embroidering and Zari work with the support of Nabard ,Chennai . We also organizing various skill training to adolescents girls regarding like Beautician, tailoring,furtoys making with the support of ICDS.Govt.,of Tamil Nadu, In Arakkonam,Nemili,Kaveripakkam, sholingur.
In collaboration with the nationalized bank and other finance institution TASA
arranged and Organized credit Linkage programme which is functioning in good manner till date. We implemented credit Linkages Programme to the SHG members. Whose utilize this amount for the development of self employment Programmes and Income Generation Activities with the support of NABFINS affiliated by NABARD,Banglore . So far we credit linked 560 Self Help Groups approximately 7500 members benefited.
Similtaneousely we have the credit linkage programme in Thirtunai,kadambathur block in Thiruvallur district. Similarly through ICICI Bank Chennai we have credit linked 103 groups approximately 1545 members benefited.
For the welfare and benefit of the rural working women we have organized a crèche programme at in Nemili Block and Arakkonam. In and around and nearby village 50 Children’s are benefited by this Programme. We provide Educational and free nutrition food with the assistance of the Tamil Nadu State social welfare board,Govt of Tamil nadu.
We also creating awareness and implementing various Health and Sanitation in the Rural area at our target Area.
We are organizing the Shri.Ramakrishna Nursery school under our TASA Organization. Our school is recognized by the Govt of Tamil Nadu. In our school 300 students studying with the coaching of 10 dedicated teaching staffs.

To the NABFINS ,Banglore and ICICI Bank ,Chennai and other Nationalised Bank we thank for support of Credit Linkage programme for the Benefit of our target SHG Members.
We Thank Donors – Philanthropist, Staff , and Coordinators one and all who are the main cause to organize the above referred Programmes in a grand successful manner.
